BOTANICAL SUPPOSITORIES
ABOUT SUPPOSITORIES:They are solid when inserted and then gradually dissolve—allowing the herbs and oils to stay in contact with the tissues for a longer period of time which may increase effectiveness and absorption as they dissolve at body temperature. The best time to use suppositories is right before bed. Using a pad or napkin will help absorb any of the melted product without destroying bedding or clothing. Anal suppositories and the initial vaginal suppository test should be the size of the first digit of your pinky. The first suppository will provide 2 doses so be sure to keep it clean and refrigerate any unused portion before administering the portion being prepared for use.
CAUTION: First have your symptoms evaluated and diagnosed by a certified health professional. Certain suppositories provide benefits for specific issues, especially when combined with herbs powders, oils, and butters. However, some may find that using suppositories can cause irritation, even with our proprietary properly diluted formulas. Direct contact with a mucous membrane is considered internal use, which requires the supervision of a medical professional or aromatherapist. Never recommended for children under 12 or women who are or who may become pregnant.
